  • Identify simple illustrations which clearly explain concepts and processes you want clients and prospects to understand.
  • Practice drawing and labeling those illustrations yourself so you can comfortably replicate them during a discussion with clients and prospects.
  • As a follow-up to your meeting, give the people you met with a copy of the drawing, clarifying what they need to do next and what you will take care of. Then, use that drawing at the start of your next meeting as the beginning point for moving forward.
