Business-building ideas and advice to move you forward faster.
This time of year when our thoughts turn to gratitude, remember to thank your support team for all they contribute to your success.
Meet my team.
It’s Thanksgiving week, and I’m coming to you a little earlier this week on Tuesday because on Thursday you’re going to be home with family and remembering Thanksgiving.
Usually this time of year you see a lot of information about thanking clients and about sending them gifts and being remembered by them, and that’s great. This year I want you to focus on thanking people who are most important to you: your friends and family and your office workers and the people who really make your job easier and make you look great.
So, whether it’s assistants in your office, whether it’s business partners who just do a phenomenal job making you able to your business most effectively, be mindful of them this year and be thankful for them.
I want to thank my team. Each week I come to you. You see some great material, but you see it all wrapped up and packaged brilliantly. I want to introduce my wife, Aliesha, to you. She is (come over here) my biggest, most important team member. She makes me look great. She wraps up everything regarding our videos. She works with all the meeting planners. She talks with the national sales managers. She handles all my travel.
I know you’re thinking, “Wow, this guy really married up,” and you’re right. I don’t care admitting that; I’m proud of that. She just does everything for me. We run our home office, and she runs a really tight ship with everything we do. (Want to say a moment?)
Aliesha: Thanks for the privilege to be able to serve you and thanks for the trust that you put in Paul. We really appreciate the opportunity to help you develop a phenomenal business.
(She’s pretty cool!)
And we also have Jack, our son. He’s in Northern California, and he is our IT guru. He does everything IT for us. Aliesha and he work together on, again, bundling and packaging stuff up for clients. So, we also wanted to introduce him to you. It’s Jack.
So the three of us, we run a home business from our home office, and we just wanted to take this time to wish you a wonderful, happy Thanksgiving. Thank you for working with us. Enjoy your family at this special time of year.
We’ll be back next week with another Distraction-Proof Advisor moment, but just eat some turkey and just relax.
Happy Thanksgiving!
